It may just be you being humble, but telling people they’ve wasted their time watching your videos isn’t a good thing.
It’s just not a good mindset. You have a good thousand subs, yea? Then it’s clear you’re valued, and that the opposite of what you’re saying is true. Instead, if you don’t wanna hype yourself up, just say something along the lines of “thank you for watching” as at the very least, it gears things toward a positive route, doesn’t involve you belittling your content/self, and lets the viewers know they are appreciated. 
It’s like
when you apologize to someone, instead of thanking them for their support or guidance or help. 
In the end it’s probably not at all that serious, but I think practicing stuff like this can generally just make you feel better and have a more positive attitude toward your content.
And, if you read this, regardless of what you choose to do, I hope you have a great career, Intro.
