Season 5 is said to have 3 volumes. So maybe it'll go to the final 3 bosses after vecna. Edit: ya'll do realize I'm making a theory?! I know that the third volume is the finale.

Except Tiamat has 5 heads, and they're not all Red, only one of them is. The others are Black, Blue, Green and White. But it IS true that she is one of the most powerful beings in all of Forgotten Realms lore. In Forgotten Realms, there are three-headed dragons, Dracohydras and Dzalmus primarily, so I suspect it would be one of those. There is a well know homebrew dragon, Arastrasz, that IS a three-headed red dragon, but I don't know what the likelihood of Stranger Things using a homebrew like that, but it's a possibility.

Not to mention it could’ve been easily for shadowed because remember when we gave Mike the whole painting during the van right to save 11 … the pictures showed all of them versus a three headed dragon

1. The movie is heavily inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, not made only based on the game. 2. The dragon would be Dzalmus from the forgotten realms. 3. Tiamat is a 5-headed dragon. Dzalmus has only 3. 4. It could be a reference the season could possibly have two evil entities. Because while the actual dragon Tiamat has 5 heads, the 3-heads could represent a Chimera.

i think you forgot something... in Dnd 5e Tiamat is a Dragon that has one black, one green, one golden, one blue and one red Head what makes her a 5-headed Dragon. Better Look through the books again next time.
