@oli_rius

I really love that that the tone of this video is not the usual "media and authors are idiots and don't understand physics" but much rather "hey thats an interesting idea and even if its bonkers lets actually work it through and see what happens."

@SIatter

you are unequivocally my favorite youtube channel. I wish you got more views, you deserve views on par with vsauce and veritasium. I hope you find the passion and motivation to continue making videos.

@thekambIer

Favorite channel on YouTube. Becoming a geothermal engineer because of the curiousity and love this sparked in me awhile back. Thank you.

@johnkeck

Thanks for doing the hard work! Further indication that 3BP is more science-themed nightmare fantasy than actual science fiction.

@TristanVash38

Your speaking voice has been perfected over the years. Perfect energy, inflection and draws the audience in. Bravo man bravo.

@Mo-xo6iv

Finally a science channel I love is discussing the show, I've always heard about the book but never got to reading it so when the show came out I was blown away by the creative ideas and scenarios that were present in the story and it's awesome seeing your channel discussing it. Would love to see more videos like this

@quandaryn1231

I was randomly recommended one of your videos and then immediately proceeded to binge about 10 of them. What the hell is the algorithm doing? Show this to more people, youtube!

@alimmehr

Wait why didn't it show your video to me in the last 6 days. I love your videos and I will not miss any, no matter how much the algorithm wants to hide them from me haha.

@omnijack

Utterly fascinating (and very amusing) look at the problem. Cheers!

@Wackylemon64

These animations are super high quality!

@CreechieFX

I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I've always loved how well your animations serve your explainations of really complex topics. Lately, I've noticed that your animations have been getting better and better, while remaining easy to digest and serving as fantastic visual aids for what you're explaining. If I were a teacher I would certainly use your videos in my classes. Thank you!

@weinereater-wm6qm

Thanks for the *To scale and *Not to scale, it really helps!

@Zephyr314

So close to 300k now!

@flobytuna1192

The graphics for these videos are getting insanely good, would love to know how you make the visuals.

@musangu

Another excellent episode. Some of the most consistently interesting science content on here. Animations were always great, but they're still noticeably getting even better as well.

@256shadesofgrey

The white dwarfs could have caught each other in their gravity wells after becoming white dwarfs, so the red giant phase would not be an issue. And given enough time they could cool down enough to not be deadly to life on the planet. This wouldn't work in the context of the show, because cooling down to that temperature would take much longer than the current age of the universe, but it is within the realm of possibility in the far future.

The much bigger problem is that such a system would not be stable for long enough for life to evolve on such a planet, and it may not even be possible at all when all the radiation from those white dwarfs is infrared.

@AnirudhTammireddy

You will get more reach if you title it something related to the threebodyproblem
I really like how the earthquakes were animated!

@Bearsinspaze

Not the Pizzeria!

@sickofit1574

got to admit for some reason this one broke my brain more than your others

@nillzania

I've been waiting for the next video. this is it
