Yeah in the rainy day tho Finn was able to manipulate reality too, he had to recover Jake’s imagination, so instead of Jake being a deity, I think it’d be more likely that ooo responds to deep creativity through magic in that episode

If you want to talk about Jake's limits, why not bring up "The Limit". There we see that Jake can hit a physical limitation and stretch himself to death. His length was probably near the mile mark, which is damned impressive, but it does show a hard limit.
