Sorry to hear you left feeling doubtful. People who leave big, long drama 'courses feel the same. Confidence comes from CONSTANT work, If actors don't know what kind of parts 'SUIT' them, they need to study lines MORE to find out, as there are dozens of other actors competing for each audition. The strain and the frustration are inevitable. So why bother? Only if we want to enough. The Olympic contender straining to swim four hours each day, or musician practicing ENDLESSLY so as not to sound like another amateur, must rather die than not do it, or are probably not going to be 'ready'!
