@TheBobmBoy

This really shows just how deep some of the topics in SpongeBob truly go... SpongeBob wasn't just, OBSESSED with the song, he literally BECAME the song, he was completely taken over because of how catchy it was and the fact it just couldn't stop till Squidward drove it out himself. But then... What the hell would happen after the Earworm takes control of Squidward?

@neco4127

I'm glad earworms are not real. It would've felt so uncomfortable having a worm inside your head that entered your ear.

@aaronmartin7086

The lines in the song about the straight jacket and the you'll never leave gave me chills.

@Kilvieo

Tbh, I had a feeling that there was probably a dark message behind the episode when it first aired. But because I was so young, I couldn't really think about what that message is, and I didn't really want to because the episode was so creepy. I could definitely tell that it had to do with psychological misery. But when you're a kid and sees something disturbing, it's easier to brush it off as a creepy episode that doesn't mean anything.

@yurisato8002

This is one of the few SB theory channels that actually elaborates something interesting instead of just saying what happened in given episode

@user_98253

Those are not nerves in his head but veins. The red ones are arteries, the blue ones are veins.

@holdingpizza

I JUST REALISED. The Mouth on the Musical Doodle CD is shaped like a worm. I have no backups on this. But its a cool detail.

@Merry-Ghoul

music make me lose control,
music make me lose control

@chronogaruda2003

Loved this episode as a kid. It was so weird, unnerving, and downright memorable for modern SpongeBob standards.

When I'm in a "looking for dark undertones under every innocent little thing to feel like an adult" contest and my opponent is a Spongebob fan.

Oh my god, it’s literally brain rot

@mah29001

Sounds like a job for either the SCP Foundation or the Global Occult Coalition.

@shanerussell1486

I… don’t think Spongbobs brain is usually blue

@carolinecheney

The thumbnail IMMEDIATELY put the song Musical Doodle in my head! Haven't heard that song or seen that episode in YEARS!

@ethanobrien7616

What made me crack up from this episode is when the earworm entered Squidward's brain and played the music, he started screaming. That was hilarious to me

@woofexe4050

Huh... I thought that SpongeBob's brain is was shown as pink in multiple other episodes... I wonder if it's only blue due to the worm or something else? Why would it affect the color of his brain? Very odd... I do love how your videos have caused me to start questioning these things on this silly show I watched so many years ago as a kid 😆 Thanks for another awesome video! 💙

@kiraPh1234k

Very unsatisfying video. It's like watching a stoner think they had some great idea but can never actually finish it.
Sorry if that sounds intensely critical, but it just feels unfinished at every turn.

@jaxinblair8044

Clicking this video i was so scared this is gonna trigger another bout of ear worm from this heinously catchy song again. But ur vids are worth it, i just had to see what the episode is about. Thanks for at least keeping the playback of the actual song to a minimum <3

@sajmonw3790

This channel is brilliant. Keep up the good work!
