It is 4 am in my area, I was unable to sleep feeling really lonely and sad. This video talks about the exact thing I needed to hear
It's crazy how under underappreciated simply being a part of a wider community is
When I stopped searching happiness in things and status and just started pursuing meaningful relationships everything changed for the better, because it's not the momentary pleasures of things that makes us happy, but instead what we do with those things, which are generally co-related with moments with other people. Thanks for all your videos, they seem lighter but without losing meaning and they helped me so much.
I'm an introvert who has been working at a bar and your videos have really helped me move past an 'ugh people' mindset that was rubbing off on me from coworkers. It has made me able to enjoy the job a lot more. Really appreciate it.
I don't usually comment but damn bro, your videos have helped me a shit ton. I've never really had a strong male figure in my life so a lot of the stuff I'm learning is through my own experience. I grew up being very closed off, but since I turned 20 I just realized how short life will really be. I think one of your videos has even encouraged me to go to therapy. It's really hard sometimes to be the guy I aspire to be, especially with anxiety and such, but damn does it feel nice to actually make progress. So keep up the good work bro these videos are like actual life advice rather than kind of "red pill" or "sigma" advice. Never knew Australians were this goated.
When i come into my kickboxing gym and chat to everyone, ask people how their days gone, what cool things they're getting upto (essentially immersing myself in my community) I go home feeling fulfilled and feeling, well, happy ( thats what I've been lacking for awhile now fulfillment). I've been doing this more and more lately and its made me realize that money, fame or even a girlfriend isnt going to fill the void however community can and does.
This channel is a gem. Thank you for hitting on the fleeting nature of happiness, living with gratitude, and treasuring human relationships. Lori Santos talks about the myth of "self-care" and how happiness is marketed as something you can personally cultivate. The truth is that caring for others and sharing love is what creates genuine fulfillment.
Life gets a completely different feeling when you try to genuinely have a good time and try to make meaningful connections with people. Btw I just really love how you tell the storys. Your channel has sparked something in me and your work is very respectful. I think you are helping a lot of us by spreading these kind of positive messages. Especially in a world where we often end up focusing on the negative!
morale of the story guys; life is pretty cool and epic and stuff, and dieing is sad 💔. so dont die guys, make freinds you know, things of that nature
I'm glad you make these videos man. This really helped me from a personal level. I felt like i was not being loved enough, but each little action can actually make a massive difference and especially putting that little bit of effort goes a really long way. Love the vids, please keep them coming man.
Glad it hasn't changed since the last time you uploaded this video :)
Love this. Best instalment yet.
so gratitude is the "active listening" of happiness
Thank you, you are a great help Mr.briny
Things in life are more simple than others make it out to be. Every problem that I have faced, if there is a satisfying solution, it always has something very simple as a solution. It is never something complicated. Same is for happiness. If a boring, sad life is a problem, doing such small things makes life better. Legit, what is so hard saying good morning to all of your friends? Yeah, it takes more time from your day, but you get that overall happiness build up in life. All these small gestures still accumulate. Of course, not always will you be able to do it, especially for people, who study and work at the same time, have so many other things. But that is also how you set your life's priorities and sometimes your own happiness is not the first priority, because short-terms struggles can lead to long-term happiness. So, also, sticking to just trying to make yourself happy is not fully right, but this video shows, how to do it in a very simple way, WHEN you have time and WHEN it is your priority. I hope that anyone, who reads this, understands, what I mean.
When my great grandfather passed the funeral line to to grave site stretched half a mile just from the cars parked not because of fame but because everyone knew who he really was and he was not a perfect person but he always tried his best to help others I want to be seen as good for who I am now and not looked back on as a good person
Thanks for the video!
This is still the best video i think. why this has so little views compare to other popular video on this channel ? It is the most important
I think it might be my new favorite video
