Oh my gosh I went to that first place this summer! My husband got the ice cream and I got the cream Brulee potato. It was so good. There was also a really tanghulu place. It was so good I went back for seconds. They also have a lot of kanzashi and kimono places. Dressing up in yukata and riding a rickshaw is the coolest experience ever. My favorite day of our trip, besides the onsen.

I didn't know till recently that melon pan is not actually melon flavored. It's just called that cause the grooves on the outside make it look like a melon (apparently). I bet a fresh one would be delicious!
