I'm from Japan, and when I talked about how toxic the idol industry was to my Japanese friends They were like"but that's their job, so it's their own fault" "they shouldn't be idols if they want to have a relationship" "that's normal" I was truly creeped out by them that day

I watched a similar thing happened to a female japanese weather news reporter. Her name was Saya Hiyama she gained popularity with her cute and bubbly personality, however right after her male fans found out about her pro tennis player boyfriend they flipped! Last I heard she quit the weather news station she was working in.

As a kpop fan of 7+ years, I knew immediately and I feel really sad about it. I don't care who idols date but I have seen so may videos with zooming in on photos, videos to find details, I just see them myself now.
