Why is the IRIS-T SLM — one of the smartest air defense systems, with one of the best missiles in the world, a 40 km range, 60 g overload tolerance, and a speed of 1020 m/s — considered worse than the Pantsir-S1, which isn’t even designed to operate beyond 20 km? You could’ve just not added the new equipment at all.
