@LinNull

IMPORTANT AMENDS/CORRECTIONS!

1. One big mistake I made is that Hormone Punk is 25% attack, not 20%, so it's more competitive compared to Woodpecker (7% not 2% - it's 2% to max stacks NOT double)! Thunder Metal is still better if you're timing everything, especially because of the late proc to clip in Ultimates (depending on the combo), but Hormone is very powerful if you manage the buff!

2. You can still make use of non-Shock Anomalies to generate quivers mid combo (e.g. Nicole Ultimate proccing Corruption that creates them - Yoji showcases this very well in his Deadly Assault run), so it's not quite right that Shock is needed for combos, it's just the easiest way of doing so as Harumasa will naturally build Shock as he attacks in combos.

@RumbleRabbit

Whoever created this character probably shed a tear in admiration of this guide. The amount of thought that went into this is insane, very well done

@lindwz3

I just started playing ZZZ 3 days ago and immediately became a Harumasa main, I obviously didn't know what I was getting into. Even if I didn't understand half of the things you were saying I must appreciate the efforts and research that went into this video so that other players could replicate it as well! Pure respect.

@YojimboBlade

Miyabi may be the best Agent in the game, but Harumasa and Billy mains are the best players.

This is awsome. Thanks, I've been waiting for someone to post one for M0 Auto Chains, Manual looks cool but I don't want to reinvest all my time to learn 1 mechanic just for Harumasa (no, I won't claw grip my controller, haha).

Happy New Years!

@R2-308

Excellent video with great and helpful edits, the more harumasa content out there, the better

@shizushizuu

now that haru has been explained to me in under night terms, it is much clearer to me now
thank you

@plvto1

as a hormone punk user.. holy electro prisms WHY ISN'T THERE A BUFF TIMER SOMEWHERE

@TheDimsh

I can immediately tell you're a fighting games player just from your notations and music choices alone. Nice video!
I've been trying to make him work, but it seems like to do a lot of damage you need really good gear with him, not only optimal combos.

@sacredden9775

This video alone made me press the 'subscribe' button. I am a really big fan of your combo notations, it gives me really similar vibes to the combo notations you'd see for Tekken or SF. I'm super inspired to do something similar for my own ZZZ speedruns in the future. Excellent vid and I can't wait to see more content from you!

@yoji__

Amazing work man, love the bgm choice and editing style! Still can't believe that such a fun & complex character exists in a mobile game, really hope that there are more characters like this in the future.

@Ficherry

i learn playing harumasa while ago, practice in deadly assault. from 6k score i got 15k with ur guide, ill try to 20k next. what a superb guide, thanks a lot,
i miss u lin, boods and momus as well.

@Sasu556

After some Harumasa practicing and coming back to this video, I've noticed a thing in your video I'd like to point out. At 21:04, you don't actually need to hold both the special AND the basic attack, simply holding down the special attack button after chain will fire off the non-aim charge shot. This same mechanic (holding special attack to fire off non-aim charge shot) works after the basic attack 5 as well as after EX special. Just thought I'd mention it.

Still, big thanks for the video, it's stuff you could definitely learn just by reading the kit and messing around, but your clear inputs and explanation really helped to bring home why and when you are using certain moves and made it more simple to get used to it. By far the best Harumasa combo guide for manual chains out there.

@AbyssEtc

such a killer vid, thanks man! I still come back to this (even in whatever version we're in now) to tune up

@Supersam395

Thanks for the insane stun rotation guide! I like that many of the techs used here helped me to improve my Zhu Yuan's rotations as well. Getting used to manual chain was a huge commitment for me hahas

13:27 For Rina, you can easily trigger chain with N1-N2-N3 at the cost of a lower uptime on her PEN% & W-engine buff, instead of using her EX. But it's not much of an issue, even at M0 Rina, if it's just Harumasa chain + 4 EDAs + EX, or some combo within that timeframe. This makes her usable in your 18-hit Double Chain rotation, if we swap Nicole's Ult with Rina's N3 and Nicole's 2nd EX with Rina's Ult, although the stun duration might be very tight.

man i thought i knew this but listening and watching this ive broken thru my ceiling thanks to you! every mode that required a second team i was content on my A ranks but ive finally S ranked everything and got my 2nd team to 20000 damage in deadly assault (both featuring Harumasa ofc) Thank you this was very informative

@suffolk4418

these videos have been so hype for me! been so bored lately and this reignited my flame for zzz :D !! recently grinded over 80 pulls for astra yao after i lost to m1 lycaon, i'm so excited to keep playing and i really look forward to these videos for more useful and fun information!

@totalwayne3089

Best guide out there for Harumasas mechanics ! Therefore you owned my sub! Great content from you is promising! Quality over quantaty ! <3

@Milla-hs8ln

The step by step icons in the combo guide are so helpful
Great tutorial !

@conicalmug

This is way, way beyond the sort of stuff I'll be able to pull off, but wow. That was an extremely well put-together guide. Even if the combos are too much for me, I appreciated the explanations on the quiver/prism stacks as the game's descriptions really don't do the mechanic justice.

Also, the manual chain attack stuff was great. I've seen them mentioned or shown off in a few guides I've watched but this is the first one I've seen to break them down to the point where I can understand what they are and why they're useful. I'm learning Harumasa but my main character is Billy and he definitely seems like he'd benefit from double chain attacks to stack his core passive. I'm not sure I'll really be able to get to grips with them but this guide's given me the encouragement to at least try them out lol. Thanks for the great video!
