So in radio, we like to keep PCs out of the studio for space saving as well as sound and heat mitigation, a single studio could have any where from 3 to 5 and beyond different PCs all doing something different, and it all gets sent over KVM from a central rack room! But some PCs get used less strenuously than others, like the computer that plays all the music has to be a windows server, and the secondary and third Machine for audio editing should be powerful enough to handle that kinda task, but recently we started putting NuCs in the studios for things like Co-hosts (who just browse the web and check the weather) and also another to act as a zoom computer, a dedicated Machine for zoom calls and interviews ( also try running multiple webcams, hdmi mouse and keyboard over a KVM it’s not fun) and honestly it’s been great I love these little PCs

@Firetomysoul

I have one of these. I love it. It can handle some gaming. I play American Truck Simulator in a moderate setting with absolutely no problems. I'm sure it can run similar demand games as well.

@2048Megabytes.

I kinda want one of those

@CaineOs

Youre so excellent with a subtle artform of context.

@shengquanxuan132

Hey I really appreciate those lines

@Ferroset

I use one of those as my stream PC. Does the job very well and I've yet to have any issues.

@ronaldlebeck9577

I have a Beelink SER5 with a Ryzen 7 5700U CPU. I maxed out the RAM to 64 GB, the C: drive is a Crucial Gen4 M.2 2TB SSD, the D: drive is a Seagate 2 TB SATA HDD. I have it connected to a Sceptre 27" monitor (via the DP) and a XP-PEN Artist 22 2nd Gen graphics drawing tablet (via the HDMI and USB-C). It works great for creating my digital paintings of characters in my sci-fi novels. :)

@MA16v3

I use a very similar unit to run a Plex server and it runs great!! Highly recommend. If you want, you can even pop a Linux distro on it for even less overhead.

@DarkGlory

Remember people, its not about size, its about how you use it Proceeds to search up fun stuff under the guise of usage

@Koumorizen

A solid unit to splash linux distro onto and use as an MC server you can tuck in by your router.

@Cracko298

Honestly, I love these videos. Keep it up!

@Satorl

i got this exact one on my tv, originally got it to put it inside a gamecube, and it fit perfectly but i got tired of it after a while and put it back in its original case, way more convenient lol its running bazzite beautifully

@keego_yt0810

"is vega 7 good for streaming hentai in 8k" had me dying of laughter. 🤣

@victormanuelmoralesvanegas2480

The funny thing is that also due to lack of stock I went for an HP with said processor and I can assure you that the 5500u is a great energy-saving processor for playing in 720p, my laptop continues like a champion and I was also able to solve the hinge problem a long time ago.

@Csupati

I had an Ouvis AMR5 with the 5700U 32GB 3200mhz ram , and used Nvidia GF Now on it. Blender worked fine on it, it was light, cheap and portable.

@Hollander040

Good to see a fellow medicat user!

@therealwhite

I have one of these with some ryzen 9 model and 680m graphics, which is WAY better than the old Vega iGPU's. Nowadays the 780m is even better, but that 680m is really a nice little computer. 40fps in far cry new dawn at 900p is the best I could get out of it but anything older, or Indies, or even Minecraft with decent shaders, was super nice.

@signa8

I can confirm. I have one with a Ryzen 9 7940HS in it, and it can play Elden Ring. Its warm, but it doesn't overheat

@gavparadox

We got this for my grandma to replace her 11-year-old dell optiplex. It's one of the best investments ever. It does everything she needs to do, Print documents, Do video confrences, Browse the web, And a bunch of other great things for the price.
