Things that this video references/use that i absolutely love: 1) The entire setting is mainly based off toby fox's obsession with the toy story meme "The friend inside me" with the music referencing that heavily to the point that he had made a remake of the song "friend inside me" with a more ominous approach... 2) Of course since the meme is related to woody from toy story the boss's character represents which results in good o'l Mr Pete n V, but this has way more deeper meaning to the boss being an pull string cow boy than you think. 3) The more obvious fact is that as the secret bosses represent an discarded/unwanted/forgotten item, Mr Pete being an canceled cartoon mascot likely in one of tennas tv shows repesents that. 4) Another thing is that there is a theory that all the secret bosses will represent Kris's situation in one way, Jevil being trapped in cage, spamton being controlled by strings, and for Mr Pete its being able to talk only by pulling his pull rope. 5)Following an theory that every chapter we will get an secret boss that lets us use one of the soul traits abilities (spamton was justice bullets and Mr Pete being kindness and sheilds 6)The boss foreshadowing the next chapters main boss in their dialogue Jevil spoke about the queen when you no mercy fight him, spamton talking about TVs,mike, and tenna's existence shown in an interactive website toby made, and in here we get a foreshadowing to a FATHER which is likely related to the church dark world in chapter 4 7) Freedom motif being used in the music Tell me if i missed anything

Pete‘s entire mannerisms really make you feel like he used to be the cartoony MC of a kid‘s show that got put down over saying „damn“ once. And Susie having watched it didn‘t even clicked with me until her last words, this animation is so full of details, this is such a fresh new wind when I compare it to reurgitated Chapter 1+2 content dude it‘s BEAUTIFUL And what gets me most of all is that the guy in his state is just that, in a sense — a ghost doomed to be stuck in the past running on spite over something outside his control. Never thought I‘d sympathize with a deranged shooter within a span of 20 minutes, damn.

Bro come on we JUST got The Upper Hand. You didn't have to drop this peak on us so soon. I'm honestly not sure which one is better. Though the upper hand does get extra points for having gameplay outside of the fight and is longer. Plus that Handromeda design was too crazy...but this is so good too I can't choose! 😭

Susie acting so snarky even though there's zero reason to assume he is out of bullets, that he doesn't have any other tricks, that this would WORK, asking Ralsei to trust her on this, because... This is SUCH a fun take on the how to spare the boss, building on how Ch1 had you trying to get the right pirouette or risk a bigger tired% at the cost of spending your other two party member’s turns, I thought Spam NEO didn’t have the same ‘strats’ to the string snap so this is really cool! friend inside me

I love the Deltarune flavor of metafiction that is so hard to describe but which this has encapsulated perfectly. The detail of Pete giving their voice box away so maybe he could personally apologize to his creator in the real world is hearth breaking and so on god damn brand its insane
