@raphaeldayan

1. Set goal
2. Forget the goal and determine the process you need to achieve the goal
3. Fall in love with the process
4. Do the process without thinking about the goal
5. Eventually, achieve the goal

@jeremyngpiano

This talk reminds me of a Jim Rohn quote: “The ultimate reason for setting goals is to entice you to become the person it takes to achieve them.”

When we focus on the behaviour as Reggie puts it, goals make us a better person. That's the real gem of setting goals. It's not whatever we set out to achieve, but rather, the person we grow into as a result.

The man's got some comforting inspirational voice.

Every TED talk is a precious lesson for life

@ogmac1804

Don't mess up your goals by putting yourself under pressure. Everything is so much better without pressure. You will love what you do without the expectation of success. It's all about feeling good about yourself. This is your Life.

@Tbessix220

My mentor once said "Focus on the process, falling in love with the process is the secret to success."
if you wanna make money, don't focus on the money, fall in love with the process of making money... (whatever is your plan)

@vandannhidao6365

I will understand it like this: ”Success is not something you pursue. It is something you attract by the person you become.” - Jim Rohn

@RayAngeloRamilo

first of all, this guy is very charismatic, I admire that. and what he's saying is probably true. For 3 years now I wanted to be a rapper but never focus on how to be one. I'm going to try to write my first song tonight. wish me luck yo.

@bhargavranjankaushik9262

You don't attract what you want, you attract what you are. This talk just exactly taught this

@BibleBlondie

1) Focus on what’s in your control - your behaviours
2) Our goals are outside of our control
3) Focus on input which will lead to the output
4) Goals require the participation of other people that why they’re never in your full control whereas…
5) Your behaviour is fully in your control

@tarikay93

This goes hand-in-hand with the words of Bruce Lee: "A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at."

@RahulGupta-ju1tm

A wonderful wonderful speaker. :)
So calm and confident. It is pleasant to hear him speak.

@mineonlyhooves

The greatest advice ever given. This is something tangible that actually works.

@tinotendacharmaine

I like how he delivers his message! He has great comedic timing

@PT-vg3xi

If you are way too focus on your goal, you will only think about the result and if it is not the good one, you will get disappointed and eventually you will lose your track. Instead, you should focus on your behaviors and even if u face smth bad, just take it as a lesson or step to climb higher and continue your process. Take control of what you can…not the one you cannot…This video makes me realize this…Thank youu!!

@DanishKhan-kg8os

Summary:
Steps
1. Set Goals
2. Dont focus on the Goal
3. Focus on the Behaviours that controls the Goal.
4. Reach your Goal!

@TheRealAbrahamLincoln

Thanks for this message. This is a much better approach to success than having some motivational speaker yelling at you for an hour telling you that you just need to want it bad enough.

@GetSetFly

Goals should be just set to provide a direction you want to go. Plan of action is what you need to device next and focus on working towards it in order to achieve your goals. Actions have magic in them!

@englishwithtaryar8834

Don’t focus on your goals.
Focus on your behavior.
Control what you can.
Don’t control what you can’t.
Make your behavior out of best today , tomorrow and coming week.
Thank you Reggie🎉❤

@jennyzhang3088

This is so true. I always set up goals, I mean so many goals. But I have never think about how to change my life styles, attitude, or behaviors to actually make some changes. Now I learned. I am so glad that I swiped to this video today. It inspired me a lot. Thank you.
