@lnc-to4ku

The guests Lex both wants to talk with and is able to get on his show says a lot about the level of depth and intelligence Lex has.
What a brilliant guest..I could have listened to this conversation for hours!
When Daniel Kahneman said: "What makes the experiencing self happy and the remembering self happy, are 2 different things" What a doorway of thought that subject opens.

@RogerThat902

Lex is such an amazing interviewer. I'm always impressed by the quality of his questions and the obvious respect these incredibly accomplished guests have for him and his intellect. Top notch.

@Stadtpark90

57:58 wow (- I like how Kahneman blinks affirmingly after each statement). - Lex is asking the best questions, and is always ready to receive more information than was sent. - I just wished it “clicked” more often with his guests. (He also has the best guests, as numerous commentators already mentioned). - I’m so glad to have “found” this channel.

@Paymefirstlol

Very well narrated .. like the choice words chosen

@jasonlouis5498

Lex thank you for having this guest. I bought “thinking, fast and slow” a few years back and loved it. There is so much insight into how the mind works in that book. It seems like it would really help with AI concepts. (I believe I got turned on to it by reading something else by him and Tversky before that.) Daniel is such an interesting guy. Great interview!

@clb2000

A stupendously good contribution to The Great Conversation as usual Lex. Superb.

@Finite8614

Always excellent, Lex!

@peanutgallery7753

I'm reading Thinking Fast and Slow right now. Hope there aren't too many spoilers haha. It's a very useful and well written book so far.

@jordanjackson7171

that was beautiful , thank you 🙏

@giuseppeguap7250

OH SHIT you interview the best people!

@BobQuigley

appreciate the thoughts on self driving vehicles. Currently with no self driving vehicles outside of experimental ones pedestrian deaths are rising in many countries. Is the threshold for self driving vehicles of zero accidents a permanent roadblock?

@Shepard2295

Legendary Daniel Kahneman!!!

@danielbernstein8824

I think where many get misled is that ai needs to understand humans and function like us. But all it needs in most cases is to predict and anticipate behavior. With enough data ai would be able to perform many tasks like a human would

@tonyhull9427

Based on what Daniel Kahneman is saying about the gross inaccuracies of psychology research, we may need an AI to study humans; something extremely intelligent, but not at all human.

@Shazzyshell

I think that ai in a while will be able to predict risk of pedestrian -, involving car accidents just by forming a car accident database with car accident descriptions that include data such as the exact place, the time of the day, what the pedestrians/drivers were doing when the accident happened i.e. they were carrying things from one point to other point, they were late to work or another factor that impacts the attention and so on

@PranavTambat5001

@gto433

Mind all it stores is meaning of words. So maximum no of meanings next to each other, will dictate what the sentence is about.

@jmh1189

Read his book on my first deployment in the navy. Best and worst decision i've ever made. On one side, it was a great revelation for myslef about my own biases... On the other hand... We're all a bitch to stastistics. 😂
