"I'm sure the bear will carry." Irony, Wojtek was a black bear and mascot in the Polish Army during WWII, for one of their logistic corps. Legitimately, Wojtek carried artillery shells.

This game looked so fun and whimsical at first, but it packed more of an emotional punch than many other games. I'm 10 minutes in at the time of writing but I can't wait to see Floydson's reaction.

I'm pretty sure the bear is a reference to a real life bear that fought in WW2 I believe on the side of Polish soldiers that bought him he would smoke and carry ammunition crates across the battle fild. After the war he lived in a zoo. To be able to fight he was given a rank of private so he was known as privet Wojtek. And I'm pretty sure it was made by Polish developers so all the monsters were from legends. And the whole burning the puppet and drowning it in a river is a real tradition that is still practiced. How do I know all that it's because I'm polish. Love your videos man!

The reason you felt like some of the quests feel like they are from the Witcher is because the developers are polish and they included a lot of polish/slavic folklore and traditions. Like the Marzana quest towards the end of the game is a real Polish tradition celebrated in march or marzec
