The jam sounds so good.  I have quite a bit of rhubarb left from last year and new in the garden for this year.  I can a lot of pie filling with it and have heard mention a bbq sauce I believe is in the Ball book that I also want to try.  This looks like it will be delicious.  Thanks for sharing!

I am taking a break from canning and saw you had a new posting I am canning bbq baked beans. Found a great recipe using low amount of sugar and no tomato sauce/tomato juice or ketchup. I don't eat a lot of jam but yes I love to can it. Always nice to have it in the pantry and it always looks so pretty especially rhubarb. Adding the vanilla bean is a great idea. Thanks Abbey
