I spent 6 weeks in Istanbul last year …I saw more Burkas in a single day when I came back to Southampton than I did the whole time in central Istanbul. Modern Islamic countries see it as extreme and are rejecting it but Britain welcomed it with open arms. Extremists will go where they can enforce their beliefs
