The most striking thing about this comic is the body language. There’s no facial expressions to read; you cannot tell how a character is feeling/reacting except through gesture and dialogue. It’s “show don’t tell” taken to a whole new level because it doesn’t even show much!

so i started reading this when it became a webtoon original, meaning i have no idea what goes on past what’s already up, but i have a personal theory that the kids are all already dead. they just wait to show their deaths when they’re redded. it would be a lot more efficient than keeping them alive. and a parent, even knowing that’s possible, will likely keep going so long as they don’t see the actual deaths, hoping against hope that their kids are still alive even if in their hearts, they know they aren’t

I think Winston was their daughters dog that’s why Maggie left the table upset and not wanting to eat. It explains as well why they talk to him like he’s alive and never got rid of his body. It’s the only link they have to their child.

so cool little detail, in the first few chapters u can see the little tear due to the cat head “costume” on the neck but in the later ones there’s no tears. Idk if that’s got to do w anything to the story tho

This series is honestly so underated. You should definitely cover more webtoons! A lot of them are meh, but the good ones are incredible! We also gives away to talk about Independent Artists who control everything about their comic

47:31 I feel like it's not just Orwellian, but Bradburian, because everyone is fake-happy, they interpret actual statements as jokes, jokes dont land, there's seemingly no entertainment, not books, not tv, not anything, and people will turn on others on a moment's notice
