What is the 123 method for motivation?
This will help you find the motivation to complete the task. Out loud (or in your head, if you're in the library) say to yourself “3, 2, 1, go!”, and immediately start the task. The key here is not to think about it too much… Once you get going, the momentum will carry you.

I count down from five instead! It tricks my mind into thinking that I’m giving myself more time to relax, and gives me more time to process that I’m going to be productive. We I count from three, I often start, and then lose momentum immediately, as if I had a quick burst of motivation, and not a consistent one. Hope this helps 💖
