Sometimes, I wake up at 3 am and I canβt go back to sleep. Living in Irvine CA for college, I often drive to beaches at unbelievably early hours just to pass the time. The roads I drive which are usually bustling are entirely void of their normal crowd. I put this on the radio because I canβt call anyone. The music plays as I drive through what look like abandoned beach towns until I reach the water and see the beautiful horizon. The sun just beginning to reveal its glory over the calm waters. With this music playing, that sight is certainly one to behold, and the experience unparalleled. Edit: I understand the sun rises behind me LOL. Just bad wording, folks. However, west coast sunsets are truly elite, though.

This video came out a day before one the best field trips I've had in a while. It was a short one and we ended up leaving the place at 11am and having the rest of the day to ourselves and we just wandered as a group, it was honestly a great experience walking around and legitimately exploring the city I live, I don't get to do it much and that was really something to me. I just really like the memory of me commenting on this post on a Sunday night, getting ready for that field trip, not even knowing how much fun it was going to be or how much I would value that time with my classmates. An insignificant post that I'm sure no one will see or care about, but something I wanted to share nonetheless.
