Why does this sound describe my book- Rhys: main charater Arlo: Rhys's 'imagination' that mademothers think she was insane yet he literally saved her life. Arlo sat calmly as he stared at Rhys. "Arlo- after all these years, you pay me back with this?! You said others couldn't see you!" "The gods promised me that they wouldn't. It wasn't my fault, dear." "Don't call me that!" Rhys screamed. "You ruined my reputation, you made others think some shadowy man was following me around!" "You would've killed yourself if I hadn't kept you sane all those years, dear Rhys." Arlo muttered, a spark of anger flared inside of him. He hadn't felt angry in his existance. Rhus stared at him, mouth agap. "Wh-... No, I would've-" "You would've drowned yourself on the fifth of October, in your kitchen sink." Arlo murmured. "I saw many of the possibilities, and I steered you away from them." He rose his chin, his body starting to fade. "Wait, Arlo, no-" Rhys studdered. "I'm sorry- don't go! I need you, please!" She pleaded. Arlo smiled, "You can't take words back, dear. Good bye."

The plot twist in “The Gilded Ones” made my jaw drop to the center of the earth.Like who knew that one/white hands was related to the female gods, two/the emperor was going to have Deka cute up, and three/ the creatures (forgot what they were called) where actually what the girls with ‘cursed’ blood would turn into after their final death. Like it made my jaw drop so fast . Also highly recommend reading this book series. First book:The gilded ones Second book:The Merciless ones Third book:The eternal ones
