This is how you make boss playable, MOST IF NOT ALL of her boss moves, she uses them as well in her Fluer mode. Consistent from cutscene to boss to playable version, what a goat devs! W Kuro!

Always having to flex the 2d animation skills too, love it! The best part of this character to me is that it’s a playable boss. We fought her in the story, saw her moves and combat, now as a character we get to use the same skills. Perfection.

The Transition between Cartethyia and Fleurdelys on the 2D animation Scene is So Smooth it almost unnoticeable 👍

The animation at the beginning really shows how Carte and Fleur have become "one." She transforms from one to the other a whopping total of 8 times: she starts as Cartethyia, twirls into Fleurdelys, swings her sword and moves back to Cartethyia, switches back to Fleurdelys (as seen by the bare feet) and then back to Cartethyia (when her shoes come back), sword-twirls into Fleurdelys again as the camera moves to a birds-eyed view, spins back into Cartethyia *again*, and then in one fluid motion switches to Fleurdelys and then back to Cartethyia as the camera moves farther away. This is all super well animated and detailed for something that only lasts for about 20 seconds tops; great work Kuro Games :D
