@IdaDuplechin

I've had 3 guide dogs.
Each one practiced Intelligent Disobedience and saved my life on several occasions.
I'm so grateful for them.

@D_To_The_J

There was a troll under ramp, he saved u from a death battle, crazy riddle, or unwinnable adventure.

@OllyOllieAli

My friend’s brother was training a new dog and getting frustrated cause the dog stopped dead in the middle of an alley he knew really well and didn’t have any cars or hazards. Giving commands and frustrated and trying to get to move. Until someone in an apartment leans out the window and shouts “STOP! Listen to the dog. There’s an open manhole right in front you, man.”
Girlie got allll the treats

Edit: dang, war in the comments. Said brother IS the blind person. He got a fully trained dog from a training organization, but you still have to train them to your particular needs. It’s a never ending process.

@Thenewhollowknight

He was trying to save you from an unskipable cutscene

@crochetangel3745

The dog did good. He sensed the narrow walkway and noticed the grates ahead were wider and knew both he and the owner could both get caught and hurt. Pup deserves a treat

@Oleschek

It could be because these types of floor hurt ur pups feet. It hurts us too if we step on it barefoot. Just a theory

@pacrat190

Haha usually dogs hate walking on types of grates like that
It hurts their paw pads
They probably assume it’ll hurt us too so he’s refusing to protect you! Super cute

@WoWNADK

When I was on high school, I had economy teacher who was dog trainer for blind people too. He showed us what this means and how hard and expensive it is. Theese dogs are saints. They work whole life and they want only love to return.
About this situation - that ramp have bad surface, not only for her, but for human too, it could be slipery. She' amazing

@breaknecktapsy

The ramp surface probably felt really weird on his paws, all the holes

@brockjensen2473

That wasn’t an ordinary ramp, it was a treadmill spinning 27 miles per hour; this dog saved his life

@BrittyJo87

I can definitely agree with maybe he didn’t want to walk on that surface. He is your eyes and if he gets hurt you are left in danger. When I watch the footage again I could also say that maybe he felt there wasn’t enough room to walk safely side by side. Again this would leave you in danger. What a smart, well trained puppa!!👍

@lumberingdeer55

Dogs typically don't like expanded metal, it's like a cattle guard for dogs

@2ctheocean

Intelligent disobedience- when the dog understands that the overall task is more important than the immediate command ❤

@afaithg30

I wonder if the dog thought the ramp would be slippery. Dogs are amazing.

@speedrunerandreoliveiranov4498

Dog just saved this guy ass from becoming the main character of an horror movie

@Dr.BenjiBuddy

Metal often hurts the paws and these constructions usually move a little, which doesn't feel as stable as regular concrete ramps. The doggy knows Safety first 👍🏻

@potatoboye

awhh.. your dog noticed the quantum disposition in that walkway, so cute! 🥺

@jamesa55

That stuff just hurts his feet, but it's good to care for his needs, too.

@_gmmaann_

Hi there! I install those specific ramps. Your dog may be concerned due to the expanded metal surface, because he can see through it. It’s a very common occurrence. Also - be careful with your dogs nails on those. Theres a chance the nails will get hung on the walking surface, and pulled out. I’ve installed a couple ramps specifically for dogs, and we use an outdoor carpet to remedy these issues.
