I do have everything you said. I do have a 500hz monitor. I have a 13900k and a 1000w corsair psu. I just don't have $4000 AUD to buy a 5090.

Buying a 5090 gives you a lot of headroom for later upgrades. 

But ultimately there are way better value propositions for graphics cards. 

I very much depends on what you're doing. Older games don't really need as powerful as hardware. Lots of them have optimization mods. 

Only new games that are like pushing the boundaries really need them. And even then they're usually focusing on getting them working on console. Which means they probably run just fine on your rig.
