Tax the rich! Rich has gone EVEN richer, 40% of MPs are landlords, it is to their interest to make housing beyong reach. Our children are worse off, grandchildren will be poorer!
Fantastic video. As a canadian living in toronto, this is the reality of this country today.
Trudeau says that Housing Prices Must Remain High. Canada is Doomed.
University costs and groceries don't hold a candle to housing costs
Australia is EXACTLY the same, actually worse in Sydney and Melbourne.
It doesn't destroy young Chinese and Indian futures
Cuz foreign investors own most of the Canadian real estate & businesses. Personal finance 101, they say there are 3 main investment vehicles to build wealth, and they are as follows; (1) Homeownership (2) Business ownership/entrepreneurship (3) Stocks Yeah, these foreign internationals really did their homework, besides the rich Politicians in Toronto & Ottawa. Most boring cities BTW.
Wealth transfer from young to old, well said!
The most expensive housing in the world 😮
Great recommendations. We know the Canadian government had failed at preventing monopoly exploitation of the public. Eg. Rogers, Loblaws. Real estate investments and the industry need limitations. Government spending must also decrease.
Trudeau imported the third world and Canada became third world. The tax incentives are very wrong. Canada scores low on innovation because taxes on innovation income are over 50% in Canada and 10-15% in European tech havens. Taxes on top tech talent are over 55% in Canada and 42% in the US. Canada has low skill, low pay jobs because the taxes drive away better paid knowledge economy jobs.
Go woke, go broke. It doesn't just apply to businesses but governments too.
All the best for the young Canadians 😢
OK, right off the bat your math is off most people don’t have kids till their 30s or late 20s in developed economies plus I am part of gen z and like my parents were in there 20s in the 1980s
More affordable housing in Canada
It would appear the changes are part of the plan
NOT a Canadian problem.
It's on purpose.
This is a problem with capitalism in many countries across the world.
