@SunbroNation

Let me know how you're feeling about Nintendo Switch 2 now that it's out!

@elfsong713

Number one should be apply a screen protector because if you skip that step, it's kind of hard to go back.

@zmzegare

Anyone else vibing to the 007 music?

@JasonBetthauser

For HDR, I actually had a pop up after going into the main menu for the 1st time saying that my TV is capable, and asked if I wanted it on.

@ByakkoMedia

Hi SunBroNation Just wanted to teach you something new regarding your first point about System Data Transfer option not ''being'' there after skipping it after initial first setup on Switch 2, it actually is but not on the Switch 2. If you skipped setting up system transfer on your first time booting up the Switch 2, you can re-initiate the same screen by going to your Switch 1 - Settings - System Transfer to Switch 2. This will prompt the Switch 1 to bring your console close to the Switch 2 and then the Switch 2 get the same screen again about system transfer~ So you don't have to do the whole factory reset thing. This is working as intended by the way because Nintendo deliberately added that function to the Switch 1 with their final OS version Patch.

@drums4lyfe0987

thank you for finally spelling it out, other video are saying there is no manual transfer, this is way easier for me because I dont have enough space to transfer everything now, I will transfer the games that have upgrades and then everything else after getting a memory card

@tdub77

Keep in mind if your running 120hz you max your resolution at 1080-1440p

@Jaygermeister93

For HDR make sure your TV settings have "Tone Mapping" disabled. This can interfere with how the Switch 2, and the other consoles, handle HDR and makes the image look worse. Once I switched mine off I was able to properly adjust HDR and it looks so much better.

@xiv1131

there is literally a system transfer tutorial in the news tab

@thephantomboy9073

This is a very helpful video sunbro, when I get my switch 2 i'll come back and rewatch the video to make sure I setup my switch 2 correctly.

@KevinG4242

I literally forgot about the 90% battery cap and to update the controllers till this video thanks!

@mdoyle10

13:42 personally I find it funny how you blur out the personal information like your wifi and then seconds later scroll back up to it and not blur it.

@masterquake7

One thing I was surprised that it transferred is game play time. My play time got reset moving from Switch to Switch OLED.

@hiawa23

Come on Nintendo. We still can't use our backgrounds or have dynamic backgrounds.

@ianhowe338

THANK YOU!!
I can’t believe Nintendo is so bad at explaining this stuff. They should have just put out a quick video walking through different scenarios.
I have a 2TB microSD card and I still have 50 some odd games in the cloud, because I’m out of room. So, I was afraid to do the system transfer before I got a clear answer on what happens if you have too many games to transfer.
The truth is, I don’t even want to move everything over. I intend to continue to use my old switch when playing games where the graphics aren’t a big deal; like, I’m in the middle of octopath traveler II. I don’t really need to fill up my switch2 with my old games. I just want to move games over as needed, but mostly use my switch2 for switch2 games. Until this video clearly explained it, I wasn’t sure I could just sign into my account on the new switch2 and move games as needed.
So, again, big thanks.
I actually don’t have my console yet. I got my switch2 from Best Buy. It says it won’t be here (in Boston) until tomorrow, which is annoying. I got my pro controller 2 from target and that says June 10 for some reason. The one thing that showed up is my nso GameCube controller…
Which is pretty awesome, btw. For anyone that might have read this far, allegedly, the GameCube controllers were back in stock as of this afternoon.

@majorgeneral7908

Suggestion: Do a video to show other compatible USB cameras because there are many who might not want to use the Switch 2 camera. Probably look into using a USB to USB-C adapter, too.

@Mike-sy5zn

I read about this system transfer, in regard to the Switch 2 automatically redownloading software once the transfer is complete, before I started the transfer. What I did was delete software from my OLED Switch before performing the transfer. That way the game isn’t there, so the Switch 2 won’t automatically download it. I can always redownload later manually.

@T3hn00bz0r

If you have games like Animal Crossing or Pokemon with localized console save data do yourself a favor and just do the transfer when you turn your Switch 2 on. If you don't have enough space to download all your games, you can stop the downloads, and it just won't download when you get closer to filling the storage. The games will just have an X or something on them necause there isnt enough space. When you transfer Pokemon save data however, it can only exist on the new console so the existing one will be a blank slate but the games that use cloud save will all still be there like normal.

@stephenelliott7071

I hear there's a problem with some systems regards the battery. But if you switch off that option to restrict to 90% charge (so it goes to 100%) for the first 3 charges then completely run the battery to 0% each time the battery should last a bit longer. Then switch it back to the 90% to prolong the battery life.

@delUsionmasterr-r3u

I have the goldeneye music set as my phone ringtone. So this video had me on edge the entire time😭😭
