For it's genre i give it an 8/10 for very credible acting. It has a good flow to it and actually, the movie went by pretty fast (to fast), never that boring feeling one gets with some movies.

If you can ignore the historical inaccuracies this movie was pretty good in my opinion. Simple but very effective dramatic plot - I mean I was right there with Brad Pitt wondering if his wife was going to turn out to be a spy or not which would destroy his world. That’s a pretty intense thing to deal with

Why are people diminishing this film with simplistic comparisons to Mr & Mrs Smith and Gone Girl as if they are the only available points of reference and as if there are no other ways to review a trailer without comparing it to other movies? I find this irritating. So what, should say Shooter is like another JFK now? Let's watch the movie first before making lazy conclusions. For all we know it could be good and have characteristics that make it stand on its own.
