It is also a good idea to look over on your approach and see how much traffic there is and how traffic is moving.
‘The traffic is too busy to look’ is a wild line… I always look over my shoulder, better line of sight. I also use the mirror. Training a driver not to look over their shoulder is poor form.
I wouldn’t just rely on the mirror I would also be looking over my left shoulder in case you got a bike on your sweet blind spot
What a great instructor. She so calm and clear.
Oh damn, never find a vid of your this early ❤
One of those angles where you're turning left but indicating right
The girl driving is an elegant queen ❤
She could have got the pupil to do the over the shoulder check on approach before the give way lines
That section gets very busy .... really good driver and instructor 😊
If the passenger can see traffic through the drivers side mirror, the driver can not 😂
I get why you indicate right because of the angle but like you said, it's not a slip road. Would you still indicate right if it was a two way road and you were going left? Apart from the angle being unusual it's a T junction and you indicate right to go left?
When saying: "Use your mirror" maybe say: "Use your side mirror". Coz that way there won't be any misunderstandings. Also even say left or right too if you don't point to the direction 😁 Just a thought 🌹
Your teaching is awesome
Great driving instructor. Girl Power 💥💯👍🇬🇧
this is the roundabout right next to my house 😀 traffic here is usually terrible and people are really bad at giving way, just like that guy who slowed down and then sped up and slowed down again. they're not supposed to give way according to the road markings. people need to learn that being predictable is more kind and polite than letting people go before you. if i intend to merge into the left lane, i only begin indicating a moment before i begin moving and then turn off the indicator immediately upon reaching the center of the lane, while i'm straightening up. if i intend to merge into the right lane, i turn my indicator on early and keep it on until i'm there and straightened up. sometimes i have to merge into the left and wait for the right to get clear so i can move over.
I like that she said thank you with her hand to the car behind for letting her in. I do that. No one else does. All new drivers should be taught to say thank you.
Ok THIS is how you teach someone to drive 🙌 my instructor was nice but 99% of my lessons was mostly him just letting me use his car 🙄 Lucky people who can get an instructor like this 💜
Remember to still give way on a slip road too. Too many folk think they have right of way on a slip road joining a road
The guy who taught me never pointed everything out, he would let me drive. If I messed up he would tell me what i did wrong. We should all be reading signs ourselves when driving. I passed theory and practical first time so what he did must have worked 👏
