I was 15 at this time. This video makes me miss back then. I would happily go back to the 80’s and stay there.
Back when a home was affordable for the average person. Those times will be missed greatly.
Currently watching this in April 12, 2024 .. the difference wow!
I was 17 then, and now I'm 53. Amazing how this footage takes me back.
Dudes mind would be blown knowing almost 40yrs later his simple house recording would be watched worldwide on a platform that stretches even further.
I love how everyone just kept the TV on at all times even if no ones watching it! Those were the days
I love how everything is square. Cars, Vacuums, Cameras and Boxes
Before the internet. If you listen closely you can tell there is no internet. There was a silence and sense of peace back then. Great video
I was born in 95 and this still feels very nostalgic. It reminds me of my grandparents house.
I know that I speak for a lot of people on here when I say that this really makes us want to go back to the 80's.
I graduated cosmetology school a few months before you made this video. Let me tell you this was the best time to be a hairdresser, was in the 80's!
Life before cell phones - I’m so thankful for growing up in a time when kids actually enjoyed each other’s company rather than having their faces glued to a phone 24/7.
I miss the 80s. It was full of wonder, a clunky futuristic raw era. It had hands down the best music of all.
Although I wasn't born in the 80s, I deeply miss those beautiful decades—their lifestyle, fashion, music, and overall charm. There's something so nostalgic and magical about that era, even though I only know it through movies, TV shows, and vintage photographs. Everything seemed so full of life, creativity, and authenticity. I can't help but admire the simplicity and warmth of that time—it truly feels like a golden age I wish I could have experienced. ❤❤
We had no idea how good we had it.
I was born in 1979, so I remember the 80's. Particularly 1985 and onward. I remember records were still around alongside cassette tapes. We had an Atari, big floor TV and a huge stereo system.
I was born April 12th, 1980. I celebrated my eighth birthday when this was filmed. Now I am a 44 year old woman. Life is fleeting.
Everyone's decor was leftovers from the 70's. People valued owning a home over just owning the fancy contents of the home like today.
This is so freaking beautiful to watch in 2022 especially to me who adores the 80s and american diners and stuff
