Great video! You're 100% correct. I converted my KTM 500 4 months ago and I'm obsessed. The most fun on 2 wheels to date. Yes I've broken both arms and some ribs learning stoppies and yes I'm in the process of recovering from some pretty bad road rash from a wheelie gone wrong at the moment. I'm 45 years old, sitting here like a little kid watching your video, just counting the days before I can get back out there and start ripping again.

@tjberry5899

Yooooo…43yr old riding a street legal ‘04 YZ450F Supermoto conversion outta HOU,TX! I’ve owned the bike for ~6yrs and it’s a blast to ride. Bought the bike in motocross form. I did the entire supermoto conversion myself. After the bike passed state inspection I had to surrender my OFF ROAD USE ONLY title to the DMV for an ON ROAD USE title. Took about two or three weeks for the ON ROAD title and registration to come in the mail; that was a glorious day! Been nothing but smiles since 😊😊😊 Love the vid! Keep’em coming!

@723racing

This video touched my soul... especially with my being a 30+ year, 41 year old washed up motocross racer who just purchased a works edition CRF450R and all the goodies to convert 👊🏻✊🏻

@kamalazam666

you reignited my love for supermoto bikes.. thank you..

@TepcoCycleRepair

My favorite was a Husqvarna 510SMR when they were made in Italy 2008, it was a beast and spent more time on the back wheel than any other bike I've owned. I'm converting a YZ450F now, so I'll see how it does in comparison.

@mastermnd22

This video hits home. Just built/registered a 2015 FC450 last year. Best decision ever made. Ride every day. Better than any other street option I've ever touched. Brought me out of a really rough time in life.

@parkersgarage4216

I started riding 2 yrs ago best decision I ever made. Still kinda pissed I waited so long but anyways. I had a grom and Harleys and just recently built a supermoto. It is by far and away the best I've come across so far. The supermoto gives u the best of everything. Handling, Power, speed, weight, off road capability the list is endless. The supermoto is my bike of choice by far. It is so much fun it should be illegal lol. I built mine myself, I converted a 2011 husaberg 450fe. I'd recommend a supermoto everyday allday over any harley. They are just so much fun it's ridiculous. The attention it gets is crazy as well. If you don't want alot of attention do not get a sumo. Good vid and you some it up pretty well. Being a new rider I had no idea what I'd be into. I do love the Harleys but man the supermoto is just too much fun.

@tazpartridge1612

So back in 1981 I laced up a set of rims so I could use my RM465 as a supermoto 😁 ran it in every class at every form of racing there was. These days I have a Hypermotard, agree that they're a bit heavy, these days, so am I. I prefer the riding position and extra suspension means that punting around the B & C roads is still an absolute hoot, and while I'm not as game as I was in my youth, I still get a buzz out of the odd jump, frequent wheelies and a bit of slipping and sliding, while still able to run transport stages in comfort 😁

I understand the buzz, getting old sucks 😎

@dadtube1936

I owned a Husaberg FS570 for 4 years and it was awesome! 60hp, 270 lbs all up and +5 rear sporcket. I got the biggest ticket of my life on that bike. Love SM bikes!!

@jeffreyyeater1780

Ive had them all,  busa , cr 250 s , fz1 , gs 750 , rd 350, kawi ltd.  Im 61, and right now, I have a Fat Bob and a KTM 1190r .  LOVE THEM ALL !!!

@dennis-roberts

Road out of the dealers shop with a new KTM 690 SMC R 6 days ago. Got my licence and first motorcycle 57 years ago and now have my first supermoto. So here is a 74 year old male riding a bike considered by most to only suit a 20 something male. I know I will love it.

@cwalnut

Yup...just raced a 10km pro open class uphill race on fast uphill asphalt. 10 classes and supermotos had the 2 fastest overall times. RM450z and me on a Husq 701 SM 4 seconds behind in the open pro class!

@alexpascal5403

Your words “instead of a shrink” made me an instant fan.

Keep up the good work. & be safe out there.

Appreciate your wit. It’s a delight on an otherwise shyt day.

@careygoss742

They are the best! Great advice and we'll spoken. Your the man!!

@thegreatone582

Such a great video. I had a 2003 450 crf450x I put warp 9 rims on it and was the most enjoyment i have ever had.!!!!!

@batmanonabike3119

Nice video! A bit harsh on the Zero though, i took one for a test ride earlier this year. As someone more used to R1s, Gixxers, Fazers and more recently odd touring bikes like the Niken 3 wheeler, i felt that the zero power felt like a 600cc middleweight up-to around 80mph yet as light as a 125! So chuckable! But i nearly dropped it leaning too far into a corner because of fresh tires! I was live streaming at the time, perhaps ill post the link of my ride/review. The zero is a capable machine and cheap to run.

@chrispery9002

No, you're absolutely correct sir. I'd be liking me a Yamaha 426 myself.😊

@MrDavidcalvera

This video is amazing. Congratulations for it!

@chug2138

"Riding a weapon", well said Sir, well said. '05 KTM 625 SCM here...pure love!

@JoaoRodrigues-jr2ox

I agree with you 100℅! Supermoto Has allways been my passion!! I owned a Yamaha DTR 125 with sm tires and it was awesome!!! But you're forgetting one crazy hell machine, the one that I own nowadays. The Aprilia SXV 550... OH MY GOD!!!! I can't get enough off that!! It is so powerfull, so adictive!! Anyways nice vídeo! Keep it Up!
