Tips on the gel x application: I also use the Beetles gel nail polish make sure you are doing a thin layer and curing it for 60 sec in between each coat because of how thick it is. The stickiness might be from it not being cured all the way. Also to get your gel x nails more flush to the cuticle take a little bit of acetone on a flat clean-up brush (you can get one from Target in the nail aisle) and go around the cuticle. Don't forget your cuticle oil as well which you can also get from Target. Everything else you will get better with time as far as actually applying the nail tip.

The sticky layer is normal after u cure the polish wipe them with a alcohol wipe and it will be  gone
