Bleach anime is peak. Idk how you could get through Naruto shippuden but not bleach. Both did the fillers inbetween the same canon arcs while also dragging out canon episodes with reactions, standing still, panning shots, flashbacks and monologuing Also don’t ever compare boruto to one of the big 3 that’s such a disservice to bleach

Sure, I can be upset about it, and I definitely am. But I'll be 100% honest, that was just anime back in the day. Until we got the standardization of the 12 episode season for stuff be done, we just all had to accept that we were going to get filler and lower quality animation when compared to the big fights we'd get once every 20 or so episodes. Now did Bleach have proportionally more filler arcs than other shonens at the time? Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Felt like we got a filler arc as every 3rd arc, and it can probably give og Dragon Ball Z a run for it's money in that regard

I agree, half the time it was like Naruto in the final war arc, I kept wondering “why are there filler arcs in the middle of this big arc” kept pissing me off

Yeah it was the same for me too. I couldn't even watch it till the Soul Society/Rukia rescue Arc. And then I read the manga, and I just breezed through it
