If I ain't wrong, then Clara and Yunli would be the only two playable characters to know what it actually feels to be walking on the rainbow since they don't wear any type of foot covering. I'd think that the rainbow would feel different compared to something like stone, wood, or metal.

Nah it have to do with the amount of foot that involves in this. What you think is not wrong but put into logic, taller people or character would took less steps to walk or run, while the shorter the character or people are, their footsteps will increase, which make the sound to hear more than slow beats
