Usually, mouse acceleration is the problem EDIT: I think I started a war π
I use a 42 inch LG TV I got from Walmart 5 years ago for 300 bucks, it has a βgame modeβ and honestly been using it as my main monitor for 3 years now and I have no complaints. Funny thing is that it actually has LOWER input latency in game mode than my old Dell 1680x1050 monitor I used before, it has better colors, viewing angles, and peak brightness. If youβre gonna use a TV for your monitor donβt use one of the dinky little Roku TVs you find on sale at the store
I use an Alienware OLED 3440 x 1440 165hz as desk monitor and a 65" Hisense 144hz OLED with Free Sync Premium Pro for when i play in my recliner. Combined with my 7800x3d and 7900xtx PC it's an amazing gaming experience.
Also please check if your monitor is locked at 60fps or not, apparently alot of 144hz monitor were set at 60fps by default.
literally doing it right now...
i am watching this on a 24 inch acer monitor. i just got clowned on guys
I use the LG G1 65inch and that's a TV with Gsync and FreeSync. Specifically made for gaming. 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and the only LG TV in that year with the EVO panel. Still runs great and no burn in.
It really does depend on the tv tho i have a 55" 4k oled 120hz tv with 0.01ms response time and its great for AAA gaming
Used a tv for years. Works... EDIT: Some of ya'll need to chill. Yes it does infact work, and it worked well enough, am i saying you should use a TV? No. But that doesn't mean it doesn't work. I had fun, yes rly. Some of you people are too young to understand that sometimes a TV is all you have. It's been wild times, but sometimes you take what you can get.
Tbh I was expecting him to pull out a pic of like a 10 dollar mouse that he's had for the last decade and barely functions
I got a Oled for a monitor. Has worked perfectly for me so far. But I donβt do competitive gaming. Im all about story.
My 32" 90Hz 5ms 1080p tv is fine, though. I can be quite competitive with it.
I have the same issue, not from MetaPC, but the tv is a Polaroid
Some TVs DO work as gaming Monitor... but they usually cost extra and a random cheap 2019 TV won't do.
More accurate to say you can't use a tv as a gaming monitor. If you're using it for office work and just need a bunch of windows simultaneously visible, input lag doesn't matter nearly as much
Please make budget pc builds. Pretty please
Me with my 1650 watching those 4090s in the background ππππππππππππππππππ
Even i too once thought of using tv as a large screen monitor π π
