Wow, I heard he beat Grant's record, but I didn't know that he outkicked everyone and won the race as well. Bravo. I always thought this skinny kid would burn out when he was in college so it is good to see him running so well in World Stage.

Thankfully the commentators realised after 2km that it wasn’t a WR attempt, the runners were on the lights so clearly 2:33km was the plan. The constant “need to pick it up”, “off the WR pace” in the first 2km was ruining a good watch of an incredible run.

Young did amazing run. Mehary elbowing Young last mile was unprofessional. I think he knew this Young man was that great. Sore loser as well. I didn't a handshake tio Young for the win.
