@LocalTrucking

Give that money to military vets.

@redhelmetmann

The army says it will pay to fix the damages guys relax.......WAIT A SEC, that's still taxpayers money lol

@RameSulieman

Remember we "can't" afford free healthcare

@KourtKhronicles

A draft dodger celebrating the military is ironic.

@antonykuo3809

Needing security for a military parade is kind of ironic.

@yougottobekidding

What does the DOGE committee say about this waste.

@KyleBillie

"The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it."

@JohnDoe-wt9ek

US Government: Spending money it doesn't have, on people and things it doesn't need, for reasons or positions it cannot explain. All while telling Americans to be more fiscally responsible.

@Veriface

Meanwhile
Russia: FIrst time?

@DaddyWarCrimes78

Want to know what to expect? Rain, clouds, thunderstorms, and road closures.

@julianforrer478

I am not American but why cant Americans celebrate something collectively that has been around for 250 years?

@sayorancode

to celebrate the army you could just spend the money to buy them all icecream and it would be more cost effective not to mention probably being preferred by the troops

@tobyggen1058

It dosnt matter who fixes the roads. The army, state, or federal. Its all still tax payer money. It still comes out of your pocket.

@varsitycamplife

“Hundreds of thousands of people in attendance” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@danieldinnell4944

In Germany we often used rubber blocks on tanks for running them on roads

@44Mag

Nine year veteran here - We had more parades and Pass-In-Review ceremonies than I can remember. No one ever said anything against them. (As a gunfighter, I wished someone would have, because I would have preferred being deployed than in a parade)

Looking back though, these parades were important for recruiting efforts and for public awareness.

@o.m.2203

They should’ve invited all the vets living on the streets to be part of the parade so potential recruits can see what their future holds if they manage to survive WW3.

@1001Balance

What to expect? Not too much of a crowd we see now 😂😂😂😂

@emmapeel8163

Thank you to all Military personnel past, present, future.
 🇺🇸250 years of service

@superchargedpetrolhead

As a non american, why is this an issue?..... of course it is gonna cost a lot but for a country as rich as US, those costs are pennies... heck my country does an even bigger parade twice a year, every year since independence. Army parades are just plain cool and it can inspire lot of young kids.
