"It's overweight and dangerous, but for an extra $100 we'll let it slide"

@sauronthegreat5799

Remember the days when baggage was free and carryons were free. And food was free.

@pramodkumarvellore1177

Everyone is talking about plane crash..but the Air staff will allow extra baggage if you pay more money 🤣😂

@larilaroussi7473

Well done girl ❤❤❤

@iandemartins6835

If weight was the real issue. They should put the passengers in the scale as well.

@CCsComedySkits

Here’s the thing. I’m a pilot. And when we don’t have accurate readings of the weight in the aircraft. Guess what. Our plane now handles differently than expected and could cause huge issues in control!!

EDIT!!!!!
For the people talking about the payment for extra weight. It’s not that they let it slide. But it’s that they are making you pay them for having to figure out where to put your bag to balance everything out.

For the passenger weight, baggage weight throws it off more than passengers, although sometimes it will be thrown off enough to the point where they will move passengers around the plane to shift the weight and its cg. They do have ways to get your weight, such as scales in some X-ray machines, as well as your drivers license as some states have your weight on the license.

Thank You to the people who are supportive!! :)

@MSquared-777

As a pilot the weight changes things. If you don’t believe it look at the story of Aaliyah crash in 2001. Due to being overweight!
A small weight changes will never cause a big problem. But EVERYONE ON THE SAME FLIGHT CAN CHANGE THE DYNAMICS OF THE FLIGHT!
Physics and Aerodynamics!!!

I got to stop making comments for stupidity of people who DO NOT understand physics NOR AERODYNAMICS!
People think it’s a challenge to reply back!

@DodieD-z3u

She is strong😂😂 But still 😂GOT YOUUUU👀👀🙈

@matthewjdouglas6471

She executed that perfectly. She looked away at the right time and back just as the scales registered 19.4
Edit. 35k likes thanks guys n gals. Sorry if my comment offended you all the do gooders. It was only a joke. Why so serious

@timeformoonlight

suddenly whole comment section became ground staff engineers and pilot 😂😂

@CosmicDumbForever

A 70kg girl carrying 30kg luggage is a sin. 110 kg person carrying 25 kg luggage is acceptable and welcome by airline 😵‍💫

@anxocabaleiro7576

@nikosx1719

Guys, what exactly are you talking about? How can an airline know exactly how much each passenger weighs ? If an aircraft has 200 passengers and they assume that for example the standard weight is 75 kilos but 20-30 passengers will certainly weigh 100 kilos there will also be some with 120 and more. I think it's just about making money, that's all it is!

@Brian.Martin

It's a crime... charge her for putting lives at risk

@CinoSabe

knowing the exact weight on board it's how pilots estimate the amount of power needed to handle the plane. It's really a safety issue. When you pay for extra weight they would know that an additional adjustment is required because the extra weight was reported.

@nicolasdelaespriella7010

Airlines ought to stop ripping off customers with excessive baggage charges..

@FloridaManGamingGG

Student pilot here: let me start with this. Aviation is the highest regulated industry in the world only second to nuclear. For those of you who don’t understand. 50lbs in the wrong spot on a plane could cause a loss of control. Whether its center of gravity (CG) is Aft meaning towards the rear or forward can both cause the plane to have a loss of control. Could be unable to stop climbing causing a stall and inevitable death from aft CG or unable to climb properly resulting in a stall causing you to plummet uncontrollably from a low altitude. Also inevitable death. Yes they up charge you because now the pilot which they pay upwards of 1.5 million a year has to personally recalculate the offset in weight and make decisions on cargo placement. So yes. There’s an up charge when more detailed work is involved but civilians don’t know nor comprehend how important CG is.

@Watchout-b6y

The extra weight, if everyone did this, could cause the plane to become over weight and unbalanced for take off and landing.

@aymanmurkaz9817

Thats the reason the plan crashed 😂

@mAjeStic.716

Dry snitching on ya girl is WILD work buddy😂
