The reason why Pamela, Jason's Mother was out for blood in the first place was because the camp counselors there are irresponsible and careless, they were making out in the cabin all while at the same time, Jason was shouting for help and is drowning and this led Jason to his demise as a kid. Jason suffers Hydrocephalic, and this altered his physical appearance. Pamela who heard of Jason's death, can't accept that this is his son's fate and so she set out for blood but only to be killed by Alice Hardy. Now, after that idk what happened but Jason rises from the lake and only heard the overlapping voice of his mother to go kill the one's responsible for her death and Jason does this.

Im seeing a lot of people ask jasons lore so here it is. Jason was a deformed and dissabled boy and only had his mom. He and his mom were very cloe and she worked as a cook at camp crystal lake. One day she had to bring him with her to the camp. And while the counselers were getting intimate instead of watching the kids, the other kids bullied and chased him off a dock where he drowned. After that his mom lost it and killed the counselers who wern't watching the kids causing the camp to be shut down. Years later it was reopened and pamela (his mom) was outraged that they opened it again so she went on a rampage until the final survivor cut her head off but right when that happened jason had returned and saw her die from the bushes (different versions of the story say he survived the drowing and thats why he came back to see her die and othet versions dissagree, but this is the version i believe) after witnessing this he began to hear his mothers voice and see her (like in the video) and he began to kill for her over and over and over (he was mostly human until the 6th movie where he was resurected and became a zombie, (although in many other medias like mortal kombat, forsaken, and the never hike alone series he is portrayed as a vengful spirit)
