@hesamsamady

I actually like the look of 458 more than later V8 Ferraris, Especially the F8. I think The 458 has a cleaner design than later models

@Tiametmarduk

If I had to own a car for the rest of my life, this would be it.

@harshsonawane6076

Clearly Ferrari design peaked with this car, they just didn't look as good after the Italia. This thing aged like a fine wine

@justin_dunn46

I swear every time Ferrari release a new V8 model, it just makes the 458 look better and better. Love it ♥

@kdpwt

Henry Catchpole always has a sore back because he carries automotive journalism

@TRX25EX

People like aggressive looks on Supercars just like Lambo cars or Mclaren or current Ferraris....... but what made 458 so special it's the fact it's not aggressive at all, it's just pure design, it's an ART than just aero vents..... What a fitting name calling track focused version (458 Speciale)!

I really think 458 design is underrated (as an previous owner of the car)

@SiamHossain7

The car nearly everyone thinks of when you say "Ferrari", love this thing

@nathanb2100

Even a decade and bit on since it was introduced, the 458 is still utterly beautiful 😃🤩👍. The 458/458 Speciale will be future classics, being the last purely natural aspirated V8s before Ferrari moved onto turbocharging for the 488/F8 replacements. Great content as always :)

@orbitaljunkie

I'll never forget, around a decade ago, when the company I was at went public, one of our devs sold his shares and bought one of these. Smart lad. Seeing that right red rear end one morning in the garage was pretty wild. Looks better in person than in video, imo.

@deadtothewxrld

Out of all "modern" designs, the 458 and the P1 both still look as if they were introduced last week. Beautiful cars.

@kdpwt

This car is 10+ years old and somehow hasn’t aged.

I think it’s really interesting. Ferrari’s last pininfarina car, I think the last of montezemolo’s v8s and many other things. I say interesting because it’s not a car that everyone knows for 1 thing (Renault 5 = Group b and 80s, etc), but it’s also a very weird and imo quite special car, because there’s not much else exactly like it.

@junaidhashim3106

Everytime I see a 458 on the road I turn down my radio and roll down my windows to hear that engine.

@CarComparos

Arguably the first Ferrari to be as exactly as good to drive as it was to look at!?!

@TheRacingMonkey

Thanks Henry. Now I finally have a video backing me up when I inevitably have to explain to my parents why I spent that kinda money on a single car :)

@ThatRosco458

Very good point you made about of firsts and lasts. First mid-engine V8 Ferrari offered without a manual gearbox, last one with a naturally aspirated V8. The 458 truly represents a turning point in the history of the performance car

@Nick-qx1vf

It's wild how happy a 458 makes me. I'd hazard a guess that this is THE Ferrari for a lot of people who grew up in the early 2000's (still my absolute dream car)

@Bmontepeque11

I remember seeing the Top Gear film on this car and also, the fact that this was the cover for Forza Motorsport 4, I just knew this was something important, and 10 years later I truly believe this is the best Rear Mid Enigne modern Ferrari (You know the Speciale being a variant of this 😅)

@FrankG-nd7tk

Great video . The 458 is a beauty and timeless design. I drove a 458 and 488 back to back and preferred the 458 and bought one . Don’t plan on ever selling it

@michigan_supercars6569

As a Gen Z 'er, this car is pretty much the car I'm sought after if I'm rich enough to eventually acquire one.

@jafooli

You have to remember, the F8 and the 488 are just 458s with vents scoped out of the body work. They're still beautiful, but the 458 is how Pinin Farina designed it, before ferrari chopped into the design.
