I really love this song and art style because emulates the vibe of rain. The main part of the song is the cloudy buildup, and the fast part near the end is the actually storm where it rains very hard (the “pouring” part). The ending is the aftermath of the rain and a sunny sky at last. I believe the song is about this girl overcoming conflict with a person (“you” is a word used plenty times in this song), most likely a loss of a loved one or breakup. The buildup at the beginning and middle is the character worrying about what will happen and the buildup of conflict (her loved one’s worsening condition/ relationship that is deteriorating). The “pouring” part is basically the climax of the story, when the girl has to face her situation (acknowledge her loss/ the breakup). The ending is when she gets over the conflict, emerging as a happier individual. One detail I noticed was that in the “pouring” part of the song the plants grew a considerable amount, and the shots in the end showed the plants that grew through the rain. I feel like that symbolizes the girl’s growth as a character. I really love this song because of its composition and lyrics, and ofc because it’s TUYU. TUYU’s other characters have very specific situations (Under Kids, Even Tears Withered, Compared Child, Bus girl’s songs, etc.) I love those too because they are really relatable, but I think this song and the Summer Breeze song stand out because of how vague their stories are, and how much interpretation we can get from it. However, this may just be a misunderstanding of the lyrics as a whole, so take my analysis with a grain of salt. tl;dr: This song is pretty.
