I’m a firefighter in the Bronx in NYC and caught part of an episode of Welcome To Wrexham on a rare quiet night at work. Went home the next morning and binged all three seasons and even went so far as to get a Paramount + sub to catch the games live this season. Also my mother’s family is from Motherwell in Scotland so obviously Fletcher’s Scottish national jersey is the first soccer jersey “football kit” I have ever owned.

What Wrexham has done for me is open up the entire world of European football. I truly don’t think I would have ever realized how much I love it without the window into Wrexham.

My husband and I were speaking about what has made us so passionate about supporting this team while in America when we have teams here and it boils down to the respect the team and the owners have for each other, but also that they have for the supporters. So many teams act like supporter/fans are the joke or a nuisance, but Wrexham truly understands they are the heart of the club.

I'm a philly dude like rob- SW philly, GO BIRDS...I knew NOTHING about Wrexham, soccer/football the EFL, Wales, the way teams get "Promotion" until about two months ago! The heart and the fortitude of the team, through the season with the injuries; YO ROB; Burton is a beast! Seeing the old guys ( : D..."old guys" I'm 25 years older than them)... step up was very endearing...The fans make Lincoln look like a church funeral...Congrats Rob; way to represent...Love all the stuff you dudes are doing for the city too!

@frogletx

The two "big clubs" in Wales were Swansea and Cardiff, with Wrexham very much seen as smaller. Last season both of the "big clubs" were in the Championship - the league to which Wrexham has just been promoted. However, as an example of how things can turn around and go wrong, Cardiff have just been relegated to League One. I was half hoping for the 3 Welsh teams being in the same league to maximise the rivalries. Even so, Wrexham Vs Swansea looks tasty. And I'm expecting Cardiff to be back the season after.

@thenikonjones

Wholeheartedly agree that Wrexham is the biggest story in sports. To do what they have done is absolutely amazing. It's the feel good story that just keeps getting better and better. How awesome is it for the Club, the fans and town that they have a hit series that just keeps writing itself with all the amazing accomplishments they have enjoyed over the last several years. Hats off to Rob and Ryan. They've done an amazing job!

I think college football is perfect for a relegation and promotional system. You could settle the the debates about the real rankings and get rid of the BCS ranking nonsense. Imagine after 2 or 3 years having a system where the actual best teams llay each other and there are real stakes

@LOSTshowfan

Elliot! Fletch! Rob! Thanks for having the guys on.

@lindafrizzell6824

OMG…This was awesome ….i am 🇨🇦 and have watched this since the beginning and also subscribe to their games..yeah…7am is ok but 4 am …I’m not so devoted too….but love Elliott Lee who is one of the most hard working and positive players on the team…and yes Mr Fletcher you are one to be reckoned with too…you both always bring it! ! ❤❤❤❤❤…couldn’t have brought two people who represent everything about Wrexham……❤❤❤❤❤..MUCH LOVE….

@samallardyce2522

great time for rob.
eagles won the superbowl, wrexham promoted

@redmustangredmustang

In the end, no much money you spend you STILL have to get it done on the field. Wrexham and the players have been able to do that. Getting it done on the scoreboard which is always the most important thing.

@ryanadverderada3973

The photos and then the guys going “ah, yeah.” or the “ugh” when they see some of those images 🤣

@iMertin

Best bet is Wrexham stay in the championship a few years and build a solid team

@doubledigital_

Rob and Ryan have done wonders for Wrexham

Liverpool fan

@robmcvaigh796

Good for Wrexham!

@michaelpierce9731

was really hoping for a longer interview with the players. up the town

@AlCasu1888

That coma sucked but why is Steven Fletcher on Rich Eisen talking about Wrexham and what the hell is Mac from Always Sunny doing there?

@goattm2

Franchise means that you can move the club into any town or city you like. This doesn't happen anywhere else other than America.

@shelbyfunk9009

Oh I didn't know season 4 was on yet in Malibu California USA, my quarter horse blaze and I are now having a pint and streaming from the barn.....love love love

@Mtndude76

Wrexham, can you believe it. Lee and Fletcher and Rob on the Rich Eisen show. Wow. Back to back to back. Up the town.

@ltaylor2799
