@antoguino

edit: DO NOT USE HONEY

I have amendments to make after reading some comments:

1. Caffeine is not objectively good or bad, if you use it in moderation and are a responsible adult, it should be fine, but gfuel and gamersupps are advertising to young people and people who do not need the extra energy. I was a bit harsh on it in the video so I apologize if it seems like I was being fear monger-y. You won’t die instantly if you drink it or anything just be aware that it messes with your body, as it is a stimulant. Also, adrenal fatigue isn’t a real thing, actual scientists have concluded that caffeine withdrawal is a real thing and is bad for minors.

2. Don’t use honey, it’s hilariously ironic but someone in the comments told me that they weren’t great and I looked into it and they’ve gotten pretty bad lately. If you're curious, you can look up how much data scraping they've been doing, and how deceptive they've been with their "Honey Gold" stuff. Edit: lmao

3. Music Used:
8AM - Animal Crossing New Leaf
1PM - Animal Crossing New Leaf
Dead Bird Studio - A Hat in Time
Bamboo Island - The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
Little Planet - Sonic CD
Beneath The Mask Rain (instrumental) - Persona 5
Hideout 1st - Persona 5 Tactica
Boarder 70 ( Something Jazzy For Your Mind) - Ollie King

4. I made a joke about it in the video, how I would use Displate if they didn’t sell AI slop, but they also haven’t cracked down on stolen art so I’m probably never going to use them after all.

5. On using the word “scam” in the title:
When figuring out a title for this video, I wanted to find something shorthand that described the deceptive practices of these companies, especially in regards to Füm and AirUp, and the best word I could use was “scam.” I genuinely think that some of these could be considered scams, for the reason that they lie about their products and prey on vulnerable people.

@Notametrocop

“And that’s why his video is sponsored by Raid shadow legends-“

@vinyldash2333

That Honey line aged like dogshit in the summer lol

@spectralspectra2282

Average ad experince: >> 5 seconds >> 5 seconds >> 5 seconds >> 5 seconds >> 5 seconds >> 5 seconds  >> 5 seconds
Oops got to the end <<5 seconds

@SwaddleBeard

I find it pretty bad there’s so many companies claiming to “break smoking habits” but none of them actually get what can make smoking so hard to break…the ease of access.

A lot of companies create subscriptions and websites but the average person trying to quit smoking isn’t gonna go through all that, it’s easier to go buy a bottle of vape juice or a pack of cigs than it is to set up a subscription or order flavored air every couple weeks. Wanna break a smoking habit…make the healthier alternative easier to get.

@froglog33

Talking about AirUp:

In the UK, we have something that we generally label "squash", which I haven't seen in the US. It's a liquid concentrate that comes in a number of flavours (summer fruits, orange, ribena, etc), and they often have a good level of nutrition to them with low fats and sugar, and having vitamins like vitamin C. I often drink them not because I hate water, just that I like the taste and often struggle with my nutrition. It's also hard for me to drink water sometimes because I forget about it but flavouring it gives me more encouragement.

It's definitely better than an overpriced water bottle.

Found a case where it is believed inhaling essential oils from a diffuser gave a person pneumonia and a bad case of it that resulted in hospitalisation for multiple days. Also irritation of the lungs from too much essential oils in diffusers is a recorded thing

@jimmyneutron5256

It’s so frustrating how FUM never ever mentions vaping or smoking directly in their marketing at all it’s always “bad habits” or “nasty habits”. They’re very careful with their wording which made me even more sus than I already was. Idk what’s up w that but it rubs me the wrong way

@valtertrees4147

I'm glad to hear your position on smoking/vaping. Too many ppl tolerate that

@weirdo090

Great video, but now it looks like Honey needs to be added to this list given what’s come out about them.

@dreamworldtony

I really like the idea of YouTube sponsorships being used as a quasi “proving ground” for products that could end up in stores or big online retailers in the future. But the scams gotta fall off fr

@MiniPlush12

Good thing I skip Sponsors

@CEAsfg

Every time a beloved YouTuber is sponsored by Betterhelp, an angel loses its wings

@coreymartin6363

So is this like a lesson and the test? Telling us to be skeptical of YouTubers advocating for shitty vompanies, then mentioning that Honey is good?

@thatoneguy2288

3:00 also keep in mind if u get razor bumps its smart to just use grooming scissors to just careful trim cuz too much hair can be bothersome

@jaydeeee668

I refuse to support anyone with a manscape sponsorship. I got one and trust me, it doesn’t just knick. It rips your southern region to shreds. Went to return it after that and they just claimed “I didn’t use it as intended” it’s a scam company.

@Arlothed1no

Watching the scent-based advertisements go belly up while I'm over here with no sense of smell and an allergy to parfum is entertaining. It's like watching cigarette ads while having a nicotine allergy... which is also what I have.

I think my immune system is just good at making sure I don't buy stupid shit.

@NoSaysJo

11:06 Adrenal fatigue is not a real thing. A simple search will prove that.

@michaeltheromanianguy

10:28 "it's well known you should not have any after 5pm" me at 7.30pm: *takes a big sip of coffe" ,interesting... anyway

@geordineilson5476

I did a double take when you mentioned Honey in a positive way🤣.
Glad to see you edited the description and pinned comment already.
