What part of the UK are you comparing? People forget the UK is NOT just England or London's cost of living. The UK equals, England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland. There are so many Canadians here in Scotland and they continually comment on the cost of groceries, clothing etc. My neighbor lives here during the summers (she owns a home in both countries) and says the groceries along are 70 % cheaper than she pays in Canada and she does not live in a city.

Have you tried living in your own country. To put an understanding how bad Canada is right now. Since 2023-2025 4 million jobs wear taken by immigrants. Real Canadian can’t even find a job because of all the nepotism in the workplace. Indian managers are hiring only Indian immigrants.
