Japanese dessert you need to try: Green Tea Warabi Mochi 💚
Warabi mochi is a traditional Japanese jelly-like dessert. Warabiko is a Japanese starch and the key ingredient used to make the dessert, along with water and sugar.
Warabi mochi can be enjoyed with a dusting of green tea or kinako (soybean flour). They also give you a syrup on the side to pour over the mochi to add sweetness. I really enjoyed the green tea version, but I’ll have to try the traditional warabi mochi next time ☺️
