@Nikedemos

Fantastic guide, as usual. I've been hosting a local test server for years using this method and the only timed it failed me is when I tried to break things on purpose. If you also want remote players to be able to connect to your locally hosted server, you also need to properly set up port forwarding on your router/firewall. These days, 4 ports need to be forwarded, usually starting at number 28015: game port, RCON port, Rust+ app port and the query port.

@Enivoke

Thank you for the video’ it’s important to host your server but it’s also important knowing how to update your server when it comes to oxide or other mods each month!

@Weexzy

Bro you're a legend. I've dreamed of doing this since I was about 12 years old. I've joined other friends ip's in the past but never figured it was this damn easy to do so I never tried it until I stumbled across your video. You explained everything perfectly and when I ran into an issue, I would simply just search for the answer here in the comments. +rep!

@ItsC-.

I love you man, Its been 3 times i have done this and I keep coming back to this guide simply because its amazing and straight to the point. You are an amazing dude, keep up the good work!

@BaseCrackerRust

Nice to see a new post from you man, great work as always

@Dirty_Harry

Always good to have a refresher course. Thank you!!

@shawnsmith7048

These updated guides are awesome! Thank you! Really looking forward to a video on wiping the server, but retaining oxide and all mods. Thanks for your dedication!

@DrummerJacob

Thanks for yet another great video on Rust server setup.

@GeoMak666

Thank you man, clear instructions, I succeeded with my little computer knowledge.

If anyone is having trouble with “terrain violation” and getting instantly kicked. Regen the world but, in the batch file. Change the world size to at least 2500. 1500 is too small and won’t set up proper spawn points.

@mihaithemystic2890

Hi, nice tutorial, followed every step and the end result was good, the server works, but where is the other video where you show how people can connect to your server? Please add link to it, i'm interested to try that as well.

@marcellotallarico2540

@wh0.fIea.

@WildHorse_60

Hey there, my friend! I just wanted to say I really miss your videos—Fridays aren’t the same without them! I hope you and your family are doing well. Take good care of yourself, and I can’t wait to see what you create next! ❤️✨🎉

@Scout339th

This video has helped me a lot with managing my own rust server that I will soon be trying to make live and I am very thankful for it!

Out of curiosity, why do you say "pasta" instead of "Paste"?

@n01no4h

Simple and to the point. Thank you.

@kushkingzzz

I read this channel's description.

@MRFLIP

I love these videos

@Raiven007Rust

I know it's probably not that big a deal, but you are supposed to do the force command first before you log in anonymously. At least that's what shows up if you don't do it that way now. But like I said, it's probs not that big a deal 😅 Edit: You ended up bringing that up later in the video after I commented this LoL!

@soita_sergei

Thanks man I appreciate it!
