Your visuals are amazing. I already knew all this but these visuals made it simple to understand and it looks good
You missed a few things for Silverwolf which are impactful. 1. They (as long as it isn't changed since it's early beta) upped the def shred from her bug. Added to her ult, she covers 55-60% now by herself. It was always there, but it was a lower amount, and it was harder to get them up as her ult was single target and due to her higher energy economy but also... 2. Her E2. Allies can apply her bugs with attacks. This will get all her bugs up in no time at all if she has aoe type allies in AOE target situations. So this makes her bug application far super instead of relying on her single target attacks to slowly stack them on one target, and her ult to stack them across the enemy team. It also means ANY ally can apply debuffs regardless of their LC and kit. This in particular has consequences for Acheron with someone like Tribbie and any characters who need debuffs like if they're running Pioneer relic set. Still (2), she applies an AOE vulnerability aura instead of reducing EHR requirements. Since SW's EHR requirements are reduced, and she gets compensated for having some with attack%, her needing reduced EHR is no longer so helpful. Even allies, were people really changing their relics based on if SW was on the team on not and her aura was present or not? I sure wasn't. AOE vulnerability is far more universal. Now all her buffs are team agnostic. They're just good for everyone, where the EHR reduction aura was debuffers and DOT only in the past. 3. Her energy trace allows for a turn-1 ult, which means she doesn't have ramp up time in MoC and AS. She ults out the gate, then you regen to either ult again on a 1, 2, 3, turn rotation as per your build based on LC and relics. With E1 she can actually build to 1-turn ult every turn if it stays as now. Or she can do 2-3 turns playing SP neutral or SP positive. She can basic every round and never skill if you want and still ult consistently with the right LC and relics where you'd lose her res pen debuff but gain a ton of SP. 4. EHR requirements reduced massively. She really doesn't need much herself anymore and either all or most of it falls within that 50% EHR -> attack conversion trace. That is, build the limited EHR you need, get attack for free, and otherwise build the stats you want. Be those speed or crit. Both of which allow her to either debuff faster or hit harder based on team requirements. The EHR to attack conversion in particular hints at a sub-dps design. With everything you did cover and my points above, she is going to be far better equipped to contribute noticeable damage to the team. More ults, harder ults, AOE ults, stronger debuffs and more rapid application across more targets, etc... Her glow-up really is quite good.
THIS IS THE BEST EXPLANATION VID FOR THESE BUFFS THANK U IM A VISUAL LEARNER WH 0 RE
Tbh I apprishiate how you structured your video on how the changes work. I've seen plenty of takes on explaining it or with showcases, but half the roster was hard to understand because I'm not familiar. As a visual Learner, having it explained in diagrams makes it much easier to understand, so I thank you for taking the time to do so.
Man i love you'r vids bec you'r so to the point and direct, you don't waste the viewers time and make it entertaining too, ๐.
Nice buffs! I'm really happy that these characters are getting buffed. I am going to have to rebuild Blade and Jingliu. Silverwolf might be my partner for Acheron now and Black Swan and Kafka might be a pair again.
For Kafka, you made a bit of an error on her (old) ult. It did detonate all DOTs in the old design, but it required a trace effect to add that feature to the base description for the Ult. Now her ult still triggers all DOT, but it is written into her base Ult kit and not appended from a trace which was reworked. The multiplier for the trigger of all DOT has been increased so it has the same effect as before but stronger. That's a buff for the DOT team still. Also, for her followup attack, the combination of her talent and trace mean she gets 1 trigger back from each turn, and 1 trigger back from Ult. She can hold two charges, and thus followup 2 times per turn now based on Ult frequency (it will be 1.5 per turn with 2 turn ults). The increased followup attack frequency has consequences for triggering DOT detonation more often, but also building her energy as her followups regen 10 energy each. So it's at least +10 energy per cycle. Her E1 also notably increases DOT taken on a target from ATTACKS, not just her followup attack. So she can AOE apply dot vulnerability, where it was pseudo single target and not controlled single target before. So big QoL to her E1, and better AOE from it. More targets, guaranteed to be on the one you care about and not some random add, etc... Furthermore, and this not her kit especially, but they're releasing a planar set to boost DOT. So relic wise DOT is getting more support with this patch too. Silverwolf in her buffed form will work well with the team too as the relic set adds to the DEF down, and DOT can use DEF down, res pen and Vulnerability. Her speed-down bug is a minor bummer though as faster enemy turns is more DOT taken.
I still HAVEN'T farm the Scholar Relic Set for my Jingliu yet because I've been waiting for these buffs, NOT because I'm lazy ๐ค
Other people have mentioned it, but your visuals are amazing! You did a phenomenal job on this video! Keep it up xโคx
Excited for the buffs
Thanks so much Ducky :> Pls cover Phainon, Archer, and Saber next :< ๐๐๐๐๐ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! <3
Good vid
7:20 This is not true. Kafka could always denote all dots with ultimate, it is part of her first Major trace. They just moved that trace to her ult to make room for a new trace.
1:24 this imo is the biggest w change in her kit cuz she charges her ult so slow ๐ข
One thing to note is the E1 buff for blade, which right now is really damn crazy and will probably get nerfed. For reference, his E1S1 numbers are comparable if not just slightly under Mydeis E0S1 performance.
0:24 it truly is honkai
i feel jingliu got bad.. now bronya and tingyun wont work
In my opinion, from most impactful to least impactful Silverwolf >>>>>>> Kafka >> Blade >>>>> Jingliu There is 0 chance Silverwolf releases the way she is right now, its just way too broken, she has ST scaling on a 5 target ultimate, her energy regeneration is too absurd (she ultis more often then Pela) she can build dmg now, and does a respectable amount, because she doesnt need ehr anymore, at e2 she does Jiaoqiu's job of stack generation for Acheron teams while still doing Cipher levels of dmg. I think Jingliu is way too weak even after changes. Her going full HP scaling means she loses synergy with AA supports which was huge on the downtime of the ultimate. You won't feel the impact of Kafka's buffs right away because she is still tied to the cringe that is Blackswan's kit, but it's the most likely to last the longest (as long as they don't forget about the existence of dot for another 2 years). Baldie has his niche uses right now even before buff after the releace of Hyacine, the fact that they make him full HP scaling with better multipliers, made him more likely to get hit, and can use ultimate more often due to regen will only make it better.
