I must have seen dozens of videos on time dilation, trying to wrap my head around the topic in an intuitive way, but to no avail. Your footstep analogy made it "click" for me in just a few seconds. Amazing work!
This is the best freakin channel for understanding crazy topics period
I am brazillian, my english is not so advanced, but I can understand everything without subtitles thanks for your clear pronunciation. Such a happiness for me to discover this channel, wish you success.
Been trying to fully grasp this concept for a while now. This definitely has explained it better than any other video I’ve seen.
This video will sit at a few million views within a couple of years, nicely done.
The way you educate is GOLD.
I am going to college for physics because of this channel and others like it. Youtube is truly a gift to mankind
I don't know if it's the way you explain such complex topics in such simplified ways or the background music (probably both), but I am so absolutely engaged throughout all your videos, it's like this intense focus that doesn't waiver until the very end, something even the best lecturers at university can't do. These topics have fascinated me for like the last 20 years but I always gain new perspectives of things when I watch these. Thank you!
The fact that Einstein could come up with such a ground-breaking theory by visualizing and simplifying it through normal life scenarios is truly mind boggling
I work as a science teacher at a local high school and will surely use this as visualization of time dilation. Very intuitive video, and love the narration is perfect. I'm sure this will get millions of views.
Cop: “Do you know how fast you’re going?” Einstein: “Speed is relative officer”
This is the way Relativity (and Science in general) should be taught!
this video actually explained this concept so much better than any other videos
I have struggled to understand time dilation for my whole life. I now feel like I understand it about 20%. Thank you :)
I don't recall seeing the analogy of the meadow before, but 2:05 is a very good way to introduce relativity of simultaneity. It's a familiar experience to almost anyone, yet segues nicely into the geometric explanation of spacetime. Sucrée. Consider yourself the recipient of a high-five from Hermann Minkowski, which to you just arrived, but from his reference frame was sent in 1909.
This is my favorite channel. Unbelievably concise, understandable commentary and visuals for a topic many believe they could never understand.
The analogy with footsteps is so simple yet absolutely mindblowing.
This is by far the best illustration of time dilation I have seen.
This was the best time dilation explanation video I've seen till now. The video and narrative was so good, that it forced me to finish the video first and leave a comment of appreciation. Your hard work truly deserves it. This video explains the concept in a layman's language for anyone to understand, yet keeping all the concepts and its ideologies intact. Kudos to the team/member who made this.
