I live in Düsseldorf and I have to thank you for introducing our wonderful city!!
After six years living and working in Germany I adore their food. Mike from the U.K.
Great timing on this video. I am bringing a group of 40 hungry and thirsty American tourist to Düsseldorf this summer.
Karaage chicken is so juicy because the chicken is velveted before frying. Basically it gets marinated for a period of time in baking soda, soy sauce, MSG, cornflour and spices which locks the moisture in. It's easy to do and after discovering it, I always velvet my chicken before cooking it. Makes it so much better. It's called 'velveting' for a reason :)
Awesome video. I love how I can feel the vibe of the city as well. ❤
Ive been many times in Düsseldorf. I live in Zwolle. It's always good to be there.
Great video! I tried Schweine Janes over the summer and couldn't believe how much pork there was in that sandwich, and also how succulent the meat was. It was definitely worth the price!
I loved this episode, your best work yet!
I like the German wurst and brotchen. The best!!!! Miss it so much.
I've been to Düsseldorf last weekend. And it really is streetfood heaven 😍. I already miss the food and durstlöscher Watermelon drink 🤤
We ate at a fantastic pizza and pasta place called Su Nuraghe at Am Wehrhahn 69 a couple of times during our visit. The pizza, pastas and salads were all amazing!! They did a very busy take-away and delivery business. They asked us where we were from and were shocked to have patrons from Texas in their little place. Everyone was super friendly and we felt like we found a local gem
I love this type of video the most where you two are out and about in Germany. I love the scenery and the foods you both try. I have lost 116kg and was pretty scared of unhealthy foods (orthorexia) but I have a passion for Germany. Your channel has slowly introduced foods I wouldn't have considered eating with my favorite thing (Germany). I plan to go to Heidelberg Germany in the winter of 2026 where I will try foods outside my scope of healthy.
I bought these Schweinebrötchen at this place 40 years ago. What a memory.
The blossoming trees are awesome, super full and nicely shaped. The food looks great, not sure why they didn’t melt the cheese on the steak sandwich, however I really appreciate medium rare. The pizza looked delicious, now I’m hungry lol, here in San Francisco that woukd have cost $18.00 easy. You definitely have some deals in Düsseldorf. Thanks Phil and Deana for the food tour, hope you have a great weekend.👍💕
"Beautiful city}Beautiful food}Beautiful Couple"!:)
That pizza at the end looks amazing. All of it looks so good. I miss germany so much.
Thank you for the wonderful video of the German food stall tour👍
