Dredge now, spacemarine in the nest like a week ago. Oh crow you are spoiling us
In regards to catching the fish man I went directly under the rig and it took like 8 aberrant bait but you can get him... He now forever sits in my storage box of my 100% complete save file to never be touched ever again XD
The lady is the wife from the note bottles, the collector is her husband. And that is absolutely Cthulhu the collector was likely using a necronomacon which are commonly featured in H.P lovecrafts works. Cthulhu was definitely summoned on accident though. I hope that helps:)
Quick explanation for 39:13: Most likely a battle between a Giant Squid and a Sperm Whale. Fairly common in deeper waters, and more often the not the Sperm Whale wins 😁
Spoilers ahead!!! Ending explanation and alternate ending: ...You sure? It's a very good game, you should experience it yourself first. The Fisherman is the guy in the stories you find in the bottles around the sea. He was married, found the Book of the Deep (the one the Collector is holding) during their honeymoon, chose to use it, lost his wife in the process, got possessed by an ancient entity which gave him double personality and made him forget about his wife and most of his life. The second personality is also known as the Collector. It was you playing yourself around all along in service of that entity (whose goal was to release the big guy you see at the very end and start the apocalypse. You know, it's the good old "bring your wife back from the dead but in doing so also open the way for all the monsters" kinda deal) If you find enough pieces of the story (through the lady of the lighthouse) and you manage to have the Fisherman piece together the truth (at which point he punches the Collector who turns out to be the Fisherman's reflection in a mirror) you unlock a different ending in which you take the book to the lady of the lighthouse who tells you to toss it in the sea instead of the relics. If you do so you prevent the apocalypse, save the islands from being burned and destroyed but the Leviathan (0:09) swallows you and your whole ship, killing the Fisherman for good.
I have avoided watching playthroughs of this game for ages as i've been terrified of the ocean - thanks Crow, guess I gotta watch it now if its alongside a dashingly clad Crow - around the stage we go, following the ringmaster in tow.
"That's me at 3am looking for cheese in the fridge" hit hard ahahah. That I respect
The use of O just as an expression without the H were used to is a either old english or middle english thing. Its where things like "o woe is me" and such things come from. The mdoern english is "oh" but in the past they just didnt do that
You should play 100 days in No Man's Sky with the guys It would be awesome
For information: The collector and the fisherman are the same person The fisherman when lost his wife developed an alternate personality (the collector) who then tries to revive the wife with all that cthulu stuff... Hope this helps
the humble ringmaster takes on my homelands game!!! LETS GOOO!!
Who would have thought that the ocean was that scary... 😢
watching you sell the dog tags was painful
"I'm at the rig, I'm safe" famous last words
45:55 - "It's a one eyed snake beast!" Keep it PG, crow
Never seen or played this game before, but it looks really fun. But Crow's charisma makes any game seem fun XD
Since all those artifacts are from Julie (according to the notes in the ocean), I'm guessing the woman at the end was her. Now, the husband of said woman is the Collector, evident by how he talks about the woman. But what I'm confused by is how is the Fisherman related to the two? What does the Collector mean by "This is the place where we both lost her" or something along those lines? And yes, the Scientist is very VERY rare, and you CAN get him.
A video to fall asleep to multiple times before I actually watch it fully on my day off, perfect
Catching the scientist is very rare and requires a lot of aberrant bait and you need to throw the bait under the oil rig
